Online hotel booking platform Jovago has launched a best price guarantee option for the first time in Nigeria, promising users more than 6,000 hotels at the lowest possible rate.
The site said it is looking to reinforce its attractiveness and efficiency in order to make hotels accessible to all Nigerians, adding this “price revolution” was an unprecedented move.
“For the first time in Nigeria, an online booking company is going to guarantee the cheapest hotel prices for all the 6,000 properties in the country and will refund the difference if customers find a cheaper price anywhere else on internet,” said Marek Zmyslowsky, manager director for Jovago in Nigeria.
“The best price guarantee gives Nigerian guests peace of mind, allowing them to plan ahead, book early and get the hotel that they want with no worries that a better deal will come along after they’ve committed.”
Jovago said users could take advantage of the policy from the time of booking to up to 72 hours prior to check-in.
If guests that booked with Jovago find a lower price advertised by other online booking services or hotels after they have booked, they are required to contact the site’s customer care team, with the difference in pricing then provided in the form of cashback if the booking was made in advance or the price matched if the payment is due on arrival.
