The National Small Business Chamber (NSBC) will be holding the seventh annual My Business Expo in Johannesburg, South Africa, on Thursday, March 12, bringing together those looking to start or grow businesses with stakeholders and specialised knowledge.
The event, which will also take place in Durban (June 4), Port Elizabeth (August 13) and Cape Town (September 10), also incorporates the Business Start-Up Expo, Access to Finance Indaba, My Business Seminars and the Buzz Party networking event.
“With more than 25,000 visitors, 500 exhibitors and sponsors, and top of the line seminars, it’s the most successful show of its kind in the country. My Business Expo is free to attend for anyone that pre-registers who is serious about starting a business or expanding a business,” the NSBC said.
The NSBC said attendees would learn about all the new trends, ideas, cutting-edge business solutions and opportunities while attending seminars that deliver practical and interactive information that can be applied to their future or current businesses.
Seminars include a panel discussion on “Turning around a financially distressed business” hosted by Adams & Adams Attorneys, and a talk by Small Enterprise Finance Agency (SEFA) chief executive officer (CEO) Thakhani Makhuvha on “Innovative funding solutions for SMEs”.
