Online hotel booking platform Jovago has said it is proud of what it has achieved since launching in West Africa one year ago, with users now able to choose from 4,000 hotels in the region.
Jovago.com is this week celebrating its first birthday in West Africa, where it has a local presence in the likes of Dakar, Abidjan and Douala, and hosts over 4,000 hotels, including 800 in Senegal.
“We are very proud of what we have achieved in a year and Jovago aims to be a major player in the travel of people in West Africa,” said Xavier Starkloff, Jovago managing director for West Africa.
“Developing tourism in West Africa is a long-term process involving not just Jovago but also hotel owners and tourism-related authorities.”
In total across Africa, Jovago has over 20,000 local hotel listings and over 200,000 around the world.
