Egyptian accelerator Flat6Labs and two of its most innovative startups will be presenting at the Egypt Economic Development Conference in Sharm El Sheikh this week.
The event will bring together players from 60 countries around the world from the fields of business, economics and politics, with hundreds of potential investors set to attend.
Hany Al-Sonbaty, co-founder of Flat6Labs and Sawari Ventures, will give a speech during the conference on the importance of entrepreneurship in a growing economy and how the number of startups in Egypt and the MENA region as a whole is rapidly increasing.
Attendees will receive briefs about Flat6Labs’ accelerator programme and its investment opportunities, while the accelerator will also present two startups – Reform Studio and Simplex.
Reform Studio aims to offer environmentally responsible materials to suppliers, and will be represented during the conference by founder Mariam Hazem, while Simplex provides industrial solutions to a vast range of regional manufacturers, and will be represented by founder Ahmed Shaaban.
“Flat6Labs collaborates with many of the key partners and investors that will be present, and the conference will serve as an excellent chance for investors to seek further opportunities to work with Flat6Labs,” Flat6Labs said.
