Applications have opened for the Silicon Valley-based Blackbox Connect programme, which twice each year brings together 15 startups from across the world for an immersive two-week programme involving meetings and workshops with entrepreneurs, investors, experts and executives.
The second Blackbox Connect programme of the year will take place from November 30, with startups able to apply here for an all expenses paid spot until September 30.
Blackbox Connect is designed to immerse founders in the startup culture, to learn from other successful entrepreneurs, connect with potential partners and investors, forge valuable business relationships, and receive expert advice from venture capitalists, successful founders, and game changers.
Disrupt Africa reported in January Uganda’s Fezah and Egypt’s Edfa3ly were selected to participate in the first Blackbox Connect programme of the year, while in 2014 South African startup Weaver and Egypt’s Eventtus took part.
Startups applying for Blackbox Connect must have a launched product and received customer or user feedback. The participating founder must be an original founding member of the company, and proficient in English. It is preferred that the startup will have raised funding and already be generating revenue.
