Egyptian startup Instabug has been selected to participate in the Silicon Valley-based Y Combinator accelerator, and has also announced the end of its beta phase launching an updated product.
Launched in 2012, Instabug allows users to offer feedback from within apps to report bugs and issues with the product. The solution is already running on over 100 million devices and 10 million bugs have already reported.
Since launching, the startup has been beta testing its product, but has now announced the end of its beta phase and the roll out of its updated Instabug 3.0 version, which allows for in-app conversations, powerful crash reporting, advanced analytics, among other new features.
The startup is also currently participating in the renowned Y Combinator accelerator – only the second Egyptian startup selected to join the programme. The three month programme began in January with Demo Day set for mid-March.
