Ethiopian incubator iceaddis has partnered Kenya-based accelerator GrowthAfrica to run jointly deliver Ethiopia’s first startup acceleration programme.
GrowthAfrica and iceaddis will run a startup acceleration programme for high-impact businesses and entrepreneurs with scaling potential.
The cohort-based programmes have been designed to equip entrepreneurs with business knowledge, access to funders and investors and coaching opportunities.
iceaddis launched as an incubator in Addis Ababa in 2011, while GrowthAfrica has 14 years worth of experience in Kenya and now in Uganda of running acceleration programmes.
“Our partnership with GrowthAfrica is the most important as it will accelerate Ethiopian entrepreneurship ecosystem. iceaddis continues its effort to support Ethiopian startups,” said Markos Lemma, manager at iceaddis.
