The FATE Foundation has opened applications for the 2016 Emerging Entrepreneurs Programme (EEP), an in-depth leadership and business management programme aimed at helping participants discover and manage their growth potential.
Interested entrepreneurs can apply now for the two-month courses, which take place between June and July as well as October and November this year.
The Fate Foundation is looking for owner managers and chief executives that have been actively involved in running their businesses for at least five years on a full-time basis, with the courses involving an average of 15 full-day interaction sessions.
Participants go through an exploratory journey covering “you” as the entrepreneur and “the enterprise” to examine where the business is now, where it should be, and how it can get there.
The programme is led by CEOs of leading organisations alongside industry and professional experts, and involves interactive class sessions, workshops, case studies, group tasks and a personal activity to develop and present a five-year strategic plan.
Topics covered include entrepreneurial leadership, strategy, financial planning, fund sourcing, people management, operations and technology, market, corporate governance and succession planning, while there is also be a six-month post-programme strategy review session.

EEP alumni include RealHouse Comunications CEO Dipo Davies, CMC Interiors CEO Yinka Osobu, EnvAccord managing director Ibrahim Salau, and Lufodo Productions co-founder Joke Silva.
