Ramify.biz launches in SA, connecting brands and ad agencies

Online brand marketing platform Ramify.biz has launched in South Africa, connecting local brands and marketers to relevant ad agencies.

The startup aims to help company marketers – including entrepreneurs – grow their businesses’ brands through easy access to information concerning relevant advertising options, and marketing partners.

The service also allows ad agencies to find project partners, based upon skill sets, to expand their project capacity in a bid to spur growth for small agencies.

“A lot of marketers are only familiar with a handful of ad agencies and, while databases with information on possible agency partners do exist, they are generally walled in as paid-for services,” says Herman Manson, founder of Ramify.biz.

“We are democratising this information and empowering marketers to quickly find short- and long-term agency partners.”

Agencies can to create a listing, aimed at helping marketers to select the right partners. Profiles include information such as services offered, BBEEE scores, and the size of the agency.

Marketers can search for agency partners applying a number of filters through the Ramify.biz search function; and can then shortlist agencies and suppliers, as well as viewing comparative data for review.

The service is available for free, on a freemium model; although for an annual fee a premium package offering boosted visibility is also available.

“We believe agencies of all sizes should be able to list their information in a central resource, and that marketers should be able to access it free of charge. This empowers both parties and grows the industry,” Manson says.

The startup launched in June 2016, and has so far attracted 200 live listings.

The service is currently only available in South Africa, but the startup plans to expand to other African markets by the end of the year.
