Female entrepreneurs from Sub-Saharan Africa are invited to apply for the Cartier Women’s Initiative Awards, which will reward female-owned startups with prize money totalling US$100,000.
Launched in 2006 by Cartier, the Women’s Forum, INSEAD Graduate School and McKinsey, the awards recognise six winners each year, providing them with funding, coaching and networking opportunities.
Startups from Africa, as well as Latin America, North America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia-Pacific, are eligible, with applicants needing to be for-profit businesses between two and three years old.
Female entrepreneurs applying will be required to submit a digital version of their resume, as well as a scanned copy of company registration and details on company financials. Applications are open here until tomorrow (August 31).
