Cape Town startups have been invited to apply for the Development and Digital Africa Days programme, which offers them the opportunity to meet investors, firms and public institutions in France.
The programme, which will offer selected startups the chance to pitch their business in Paris with a trip on October 26-28, is being run by the French Directorate General for Enterprise in collaboration with La French Tech.
Disrupt Africa reported in February Cape Town was selected as a new French Tech Hub, becoming the sixth city globally to join the programme aimed at encouraging business and talent exchanges between France and South Africa.
The French Tech Hub is now allowing local digital startups to apply to take part in the Paris trip, with the opportunity to develop partnerships with French firms. All travel and accommodation expenses are covered, with applications closing on October 4.
