The African Business Angel Network (ABAN) is to hold an angel investor masterclass in Douala, Cameroon, as part of a series aimed at mobilising early-stage investments on the continent.
ABAN seeks to promote a culture of angel investing across the African continent and help connect game-changing entrepreneurs with mentor capital.
Following successful masterclasses in Washington, Silicon Valley, Johannesburg, Nairobi and Hargeisa in recent months, it is now set to hold a masterclass in Douala in partnership with the Cameroon Angels Network (CAN).
The masterclass will take place on Saturday, October 8, with an informal get-together the evening before. The events are intended to be investors-only, with registration required.
Speakers will include European Business Angel Network (EBAN) president Candace Johnson, Lagos Angels Network (LAN) investor Ndidi Nnoli-Edozien and CAN co-founder Rebecca Enonchong.
“This must be the best line-up ever we have been able to bring together to facilitate an angel investor masterclass,” ABAN said.
