Real estate firm 3Invest has launched Nigeria’s latest co-working space, Lagos Cowork, offering office space in the Lekki area of Lagos on a timeshare model.

3Invest said Lagos Cowork aims to offer flexible office space for startups and growing businesses, as well as fostering a collaborative community within the space.

A key characteristic of the new space it the wide variety of payment models available.  Members can rent a workstation on an hourly, daily, weekly, or monthly basis from NGN700 (US$2.30) an hour to NGN70,000 (US$229) a month.

Small teams can rent out private offices from NGN14,700 (US$48.20) for half a day for a three man office, to NGN300,000 (US$984) for the same space per month.

Individual meeting rooms, training rooms, and conferencing rooms are also available for rent.

In addition, Lagos Cowork will also operate a timeshare option for those wishing to rent in advance for a longer period, with the option of timesharing when they are not using the space.

The space features amenities such as high speed internet, and uninterrupted power; as well as comforts such as a lounge area and coffee shop. A range of support services are also on offer, from business support, to legal and tax advisory, or bookkeeping.

“Our successful workplace strategy seeks to both improve organizational effectiveness and reduce real estate and facilities costs. We will provide smart and versatile spaces designed to fit the modern workplace strategy,” said Ruth Obih-Obuah, chief executive of 3Invest.
