Real estate firm 3Invest has launched Nigeria’s latest co-working space, Lagos Cowork, offering office space in the Lekki area of Lagos on a timeshare model.
3Invest said Lagos Cowork aims to offer flexible office space for startups and growing businesses, as well as fostering a collaborative community within the space.
A key characteristic of the new space it the wide variety of payment models available. Members can rent a workstation on an hourly, daily, weekly, or monthly basis from NGN700 (US$2.30) an hour to NGN70,000 (US$229) a month.
Small teams can rent out private offices from NGN14,700 (US$48.20) for half a day for a three man office, to NGN300,000 (US$984) for the same space per month.
Individual meeting rooms, training rooms, and conferencing rooms are also available for rent.
In addition, Lagos Cowork will also operate a timeshare option for those wishing to rent in advance for a longer period, with the option of timesharing when they are not using the space.
The space features amenities such as high speed internet, and uninterrupted power; as well as comforts such as a lounge area and coffee shop. A range of support services are also on offer, from business support, to legal and tax advisory, or bookkeeping.
