Accelerator programme Techstars Atlanta is to visit Lagos, Nigeria to meet startups after announcing it is now accepting applications for its second class.
Techstars Atlanta is run in partnership with Cox Enterprises and focuses on technologies driving positive change in an interconnected world.
Applications are open here, with Techstars seeking startups from all over the world. Nigeria is of particular interest, and as a result a team from Techstars will be at the Cranium One co-working space on the evening of Wednesday, March 1 to meet interested entrepreneurs.
“We are eager to meet companies around the world that are interested in applying to our program. If you think your company might be a fit, please join us at Cranium One for a evening of networking, presentations, and opportunities for Q & A,” Techstars said.
In addition, startups are able to sign up for 20-minute individual meetings with Tyler Scriven, managing director of Techstars Atlanta, throughout the week using this office hour requests form.
Startups can sign up for the Lagos event here. The Techstars accelerator will run in Atlanta, and kicks off in mid-July 2017. The three-month intensive programme offers participants mentoring and guidance from entrepreneurs, F500 executives, subject matter experts, Cox employees, and the Techstars global network. Each company participating in the programme receives US$120,000 funding.
