British car company Jaguar Land Rover has launched its InMotion Accelerator, which will offer training, mentorship and funding to 15 mobility and transportation startups from across the world.
The six-month InMotion Accelerator is looking for applications from developing mobility products and services, as well as startups developing the tech that powers them.
“New technologies and consumer needs are transforming the way we move. This rapid change creates a unique opportunity for startups to build hugely valuable businesses, and we’ve designed a programme to help them do just that,” said James Nettleton, head of accelerator at InMotion Ventures.
Applications are open now for the programme, which will begin in London in April. Selected startups will receive investment based on their needs in exchange for equity. They will also receive office space, mentoring, support from InMotion Ventures’ in-house finance, operations, marketing, design and development teams, and access to Jaguar Land Rover’s network.
“We’re looking to match world class mobility and transportation startups to our dedicated team of entrepreneurs, designers and technologists – all experts in mobility and eager to work tirelessly to support growth,” said Sebastian Peck, managing director at InMotion Ventures.
