Google will hold its first Launchpad Start event in Johannesburg at the end of March, providing a one-week problem-solving bootcamp for early-stage startups.
The event, which will take place at the JoziHub from March 27 to March 31, will be focused on subjects including product strategy, UX and UI, technology, marketing, and business development.
The goal of LaunchPad Start is to provide startups with actionable, in-person mentoring to help them tackle critical growth and scale challenges. Each day of the bootcamp will be dedicated to a specific subject and includes presentations, one-on-one mentorship and instructor-led workshops.
“At the end of the one-week bootcamp, participating startups will have four key takeaways: an improved product strategy, an optimised Minimum Viable Product, a technical excellence plan and a viable digital marketing strategy,” JoziHub said.
“Jozihub is proud to be hosting this event that we believe will be beneficial to the 20 startups participating in the bootcamp. The bootcamp will help to fast-track a young business, will help overcome challenges and provide the much needed mentorship support that startups need. This is a crucial and important event on our calendar.”
Early-stage tech startups interested in taking part should apply here before February 24.
