African startups in the fintech, insurtech and regtech spaces have been invited to apply for the Switzerland-based F10 accelerator programme, which is equity-free and helps entrepreneurs take their ideas to market.
The F10 incubator and accelerator is run by an association that includes SIX, Julius Bär Bank and PwC Switzerland, and will be running its latest programme between July and December this year.
It is aimed at providing 10 startups from around the world with the opportunity to evolve an initial prototype from the planning phase to the market release phase. The programme will be made up of various coaching and educational modules, and take place at the F10 offices in Zurich.
“To insure the startups have the best chances of successfully bringing their products to market, the F10 and its external experts and mentors will be on site and available to coach and mentor the qualifying teams,” F10 said.
This batch will mark F10’s third cohort since it started incubating and accelerating fintech startups.
Startups have until April 28 to submit their ideas to F10, with a pre-selection phase scheduled for early June and final selection for later that month. Participation for the selected startups is free and F10 does not take any equity.
