Applications have opened for the third edition of the African Entrepreneurship Awards, which offers US$1 million in prizes and access to mentoring and support to selected early-stage businesses.
The African Entrepreneurship Awards, run by BMCE Bank of Africa, are open to entrepreneurs which existing businesses or business ideas. The goal is to assist aspiring entrepreneurs in becoming job creators.
Applicants must be citizens of an African country, and a minimum of 18 years old as of October 1, 2017. Business proposals must include a technological component, and be for profit.
The African Entrepreneurship Awards are looking for applicants in the fields of education, environment and “uncharted”, which denotes a high-impact business venturing into unexplored territory or untested markets.
Applications are open until April 20.
