The global Women in Africa Club is looking for Africa’s top female entrepreneurs to invite to its first annual gathering, set for Morocco in September.
The Women in Africa (WIA) Club is a global network of leaders – women and men – working together for a new governance on the African continent, by supporting Africa’s influential business women and female entrepreneurs.
The organisation plans to host its first annual meeting Marrakech, Morocco, on September 25-27, and is looking to identify Africa’s top women entrepreneurs to invite to the event.
At the gathering, the selected entrepreneurs will be able to showcase to and network with more than 300 delegates; with the event focusing on the theme “Investing for better governance with African women”.
Up to 20 entrepreneurs will be given dedicated space to showcase at the WIA Entrepreneurs Hub; while a further five will be selected to give a talk and pitch at the WIA Philanthropy “Revelations Night” – which seeks to celebrate and encourage the most innovative high potential initiatives carried by African-based women entrepreneurs in across the agriculture, education, energy, digital and tech, and health and nutrition sectors.
The entrepreneurs will be selected by a panel of international judges based on their innovation, impact, traction, growth potential, and the ambition and skills of the team.
