Former Dimension Data Middle East and Africa (MEA) managing executives Baxolile Mabinya and Lubabalo Dyantyi have announced their collaboration on a new venture – Deviare – which will officially be launched in mid-November.
Deviare is an innovative digital firm that will focus on investing in capacity-building skills and technology in order to facilitate digital transformation across both the public and the private sectors.
It has been born out of the need perceived by its co-founders to challenge the status quo of the ICT industry in South Africa and beyond, and create new client value across industries. The firm’s purpose is to assist organisations in building capacity to thrive in an increasingly complex, digital world.
Dyantyi said the new economic weapon of the 21st century and beyond is the intersection between technology and education.
“I strongly consider success as harnessing the power and potential of technology and investing in people to mobilize their talents and skills. At Deviare, we believe that in order for technology solutions to be effective, their design and implementation should be rooted in the context into which they will be applied – and this includes the people that will be applying and using that technology,” he said.
