Future Females has secured a partnership with the UK-SA Tech Hub to support 50 South African, early-stage female tech entrepreneurs in transforming their ideas into businesses.
Applications are now open for the Future Females Business School, powered by the UK-SA Tech Hub. The 12-week virtual programme will equip local female entrepreneurs with the entrepreneurial skills needed to start and grow successful and sustainable businesses.
“Our partnership with the UK-SA Tech Hub arose out of the need for greater skills development support for South African female entrepreneurs, in particular for those entrepreneurs in underserved regions, who generally do not have access to programmes of this nature,” said Lauren Dallas, co-founder of Future Females.
“We’re really hoping to empower aspiring entrepreneurs to get started on their journey and to overcome the pervasive fear of failure that exists, particularly with female entrepreneurs. Starting can often be the most difficult part!” said Shirley Gilbey, UK-SA Tech Hub director.
This programme is for any South African female entrepreneur with an idea or early-stage business, and is made up of 12 content modules. Members will learn how to write an effective business plan, how to find and reach customers, and how to use technology to build their online presence and scale.
