Cairo-based cleaning services startup Jinni has secured an six-figure dollar funding round in order to grow its already-impressive user base.
Founded in 2016 by a husband and wife Mostafa Ghannam and Alaa Shams, Jinni provides residential and corporate clients with access to different types of cleaning services via its mobile app.
In its first three years, the startup has served more than 3,000 residential customers, completing over 12,000 orders, and corporate clients including Uber, Modelez International, and Egyptian Steel.
Jinni now plans to rapidly grow that figure after raising a six-figure dollar investment from AUC Angels, the newly-launched angel investor group based out of the American University in Cairo, which has made Jinni its first investment.
