UCT GSB Solution Space and ayoba have opened applications for the latest edition of the e-Track programme, aimed at supporting startups from across the continent.

Run by UCT GSB Solution Space – a specialised centre of the University of Cape Town Graduate School of Business focused on high-impact early startups, corporate innovation, and entrepreneurship development – and funded by ayoba, the last e-Track Programme concluded earlier this month with seven of the graduating startups pitching their businesses to an audience at a hybrid event hosted on the GSB campus.

Winning the ‘Peer Award’ was Strapp, whose idea of a rental marketplace enables people to rent out their unused  possessions. Identified as the ‘Most Promising Startup’ was SuM1 Investments, which collectively invests  alongside individual investors and Stokvels in income generating assets.

Applications for the upcoming e-Track programme have just opened. This three-phase venture acceleration  programme was developed to support startups across the continent, helping individuals and teams to build scalable businesses with a global potential. The programme targets high-impact individuals, aspiring entrepreneurs, and experienced founders.

Applications are open here until April 29.
