Fourteen startups from across the continent have been selected to Pitch Live at Africa Tech Summit, which will host its fifth edition on February 15-16 at the Sarit Expo Centre in Nairobi, Kenya.

Africa Tech Summit Nairobi provides insight and networking with the African tech ecosystem. bringing together tech leaders, MNOs, banks, international investors, entrepreneurs, governments, trade bodies, media and leading ventures to drive investment and business in African tech.

Every year, startups present their products and services to the audience of investors, corporates and other stakeholders as part of Pitch Live, and this year organisers received more than 250 entries from more than 20 African countries.

Fourteen startups have been selected to pitch at the event, including six from Nigeria. They are HR tech startup Goodtalent, e-wallet platform Glover, lending startup Lendha, deliveries service Sendstack, SME credit platform Trade Lenda, and financial and legal services startup Vesti.

Three are from Kenya – HR startup FaidiHR, real estate platform Kiotapay, and health funding platform Snark Health – and a further two from Uganda, in the shape of travel payments service Tripesa and salary advance service Zofi Cash.

Zambian food marketplace Aiponics, Egyptian agri-tech startup FreshSource, and Rwandan HR startup PesaChoice complete the cohort.

“Pitch Live is an important part of Africa Tech Summit in showcasing new ventures and connecting investors, founders and key stakeholders. Last year’s edition resulted in several ventures closing funding rounds, so we are very excited to see what happens this year and would like to thank all our supporting partners for making it happen,” said Andrew Fassnidge, director of Africa Tech Summit.

Final passes for the two-day summit in Nairobi are on sale here.
