The French-African Foundation has launched a call for applications for its 2023 Young Leaders programme around the theme “Unleash the energy”.
Created in 2019, the French-African Foundation works to create generations of committed leaders in France and in Africa. Each year, it launches a call for applications in all countries of the continent and in France to select and bring together the most promising Franco-African talents.
In 2021, the foundation doubled its membership to 100 Young Leaders to address the suspension of the 2020 programme due to COVID-19 crisis, and the laureates met in Paris and Dakar under the patronage of Senegal’s President Macky Sall.
The French-African Foundation is now looking for 30 young people from Africa and France who will be part of the new cohort of its programme. This year, the theme of the Young Leaders programme is “Unleash the energy”.
Placed under the patronage of the France’s President Emmanuel Macron and Rwanda’s President Paul Kagame, the foundation will bring together the new class for a week in France in June and then a week in Rwanda later in the year for meetings, training, and privileged moments of professional and personal exchanges.
Applicants must be between 28 and 40 years old in 2023, demonstrate leadership skills, or have demonstrated exceptional professional qualities in their respective fields! Fluency in English is mandatory, while French language skills are not required but appreciated. All sectors of activity are welcome.
Applications are open here until March 17. A high-level jury will select the winners, and the results will be announced in May.
