Twelve African startups have been selected to pitch for investment opportunities at Africa Tech Summit London at the London Stock Exchange on June 23.

Africa Tech Summit (ATS) is a leading African tech conference series providing insight and networking with the African tech ecosystem in Nairobi, London and Ghana. ATS London is its 15th live summit, and brings together tech leaders, MNOs, banks, investors, entrepreneurs, governments, trade bodies, media and leading ventures to drive investment and growth in African tech.

Following a sold-out edition in 2022, the summit will connect 300 industry leaders from across Africa with international investors, corporates, and ventures. This year’s Venture Track features an Investment Showcase, along with one-to-one investor meetings which will continue to drive investment and collaboration forward.

Twelve startups have now been selected to take part in the Investment Showcase, including five from Nigeria. They are investment platform Astravest, e-health startup Famasi Africa, lending service Creditchek, fintech company Pivo, and training platform Quantum Analytics.

Two Kenyan companies – digital banking platform Waya and product development service eBiashara – are also selected, as well as Tanzanian transport app Safiri App, UK-based fintech Knabu, Zambian micro-lending platform PremierCredit, Egyptian mobile payments service Zeal, and South African financing platform Profitshare Partners.

“Tech funding has slowed dramatically this year across the African tech ecosystem, so we are delighted to connect and showcase these leading ventures to international investors through this year’s investment showcase at London Stock Exchange. We look forward to welcoming 300 delegates, to drive business and investment forward between Africa and Europe,” said Andrew Fassnidge, managing director of Africa Tech Summit.
