Female-run African startups invited to apply for Aurora Tech Award

Female-run African startups are invited to apply for the Aurora Tech Award, an annual global prize for women founders of tech startups.

The Aurora Tech Award is focused on breaking down barriers and promoting equality in tech entrepreneurship, and is seeking female founders that have a functional prototype or an early version of their product.

First prize is US$30,000, second prize is US$20,000, and third prize is US$10,000. In addition, selected ventures will connect with a global community of women tech entrepreneurs, receive PR support, get feedback from venture capital experts, and receive guidance from inDrive’s C-level executives and industry experts with a finalist mentorship programme.

Applications are open here until December 1.
