Egyptian fintech startup Banknbox has partnered with Jordanian payments provider CSC Jordan to drive financial inclusion and offer joint advanced services to customers of both companies.

Founded in 2022 by Bassem Mahmoud, Banknbox provides a diverse range of services, including ATM administration, transaction monitoring, POS and soft-POS. Meanwhile, CSC Jordan, founded in 2004, offers all forms of electronic payment and ATM management services.

The partnership between the two will see Banknbox and CSC Jordan seek to strengthen their position in MENA’s fintech sector by integrating their customer-facing systems from banks and financial institutions as well as linking applications to provide distinctive regional services to their customers.

It aims to drive financial inclusion and offer joint advanced services to customers of both companies, through the extension of diverse banking solutions and innovative payment services.

“CSC Jordan, with its extensive experience serving many banks and providing direct services to merchants and customers, is an ideal partner for Banknbox. This partnership will enable collaboration in providing modern banking and payments technology to our mutual customers while tapping into new markets,” Mahmoud said.

Bassem Al Dweik, general manager of CSC Jordan, said the partnership represented an important step towards achieving the mutual vision in providing advanced banking services.

“As this collaboration aims to enhance financial inclusion and meet the growing needs of customers regionally. The integration between Banknbox marks CSC Jordan’s first cooperation within the Egyptian market, which we truly value as one of the most promising markets in our region,” he said.
