SA’s Cue launches of AI Agents service to revolutionise customer service

South African startup Cue, a provider of customer service software, has launched AI Agents, a new service that empowers businesses to automate routine inquiries, personalise customer interactions, and deliver exceptional service at scale.

Founded in 2015, Cue enables businesses to help customers quickly and efficiently with chatbots and live chat on WhatsApp and social channels. The startup has worked with over 300 clients in the last five years, and recently expanded to the United Kingdom (UK).

Disrupt Africa reported in February Cue had closed a US$2 million seed round of funding, partly to deliver deeper integration of AI into its platform, and it has now followed that up with the launch of AI Agents.

Cue’s AI Agents are trained on content from websites and company documents provided by businesses, allowing them to understand natural language and respond to a wide range of questions and requests.

The service seamlessly integrates with existing workflows, enabling businesses to reduce response times, improve customer satisfaction, and boost agent productivity.

“At Cue, we’re committed to helping businesses deliver exceptional customer service in a rapidly evolving landscape,” said Rhett Trickett, chief product officer at Cue. “Our AI Agents represent a significant leap forward in customer service automation, enabling businesses to streamline operations, enhance efficiency, and ultimately, build stronger relationships with their customers.”
