Morocco’s ToumAI secures $1m to pioneer next-gen global CX

By Tom Jackson on February 10, 2025 News, North Africa

Morocco’s ToumAI, an innovative AI technology company, has raised EUR1 million (US$1 million) in pre-seed funding to fuel its mission of delivering personalised, adaptive, and sustainable customer experience (CX) solutions globally.

ToumAI is redefining CX by addressing the challenges of multilingual, cultural, generational preferences and emotional complexity. Its AI-first solutions, under the HolistiCX suite, leverage a unique Compound AI architecture that optimises performance with minimal computational requirements.

By combining large open-source models with tailored proprietary models, ToumAI enhances voice-driven applications, improves IVR systems, and enables advanced churn detection.

Its business model offers scalable APIs that can integrate data across departments for actionable insights to improve global customer relations, ensuring every touchpoint resonates on a personal level.

In 2024, ToumAI expanded its customer base to key markets, including Morocco, Senegal, and Malta, and it will soon launch in Tunisia. Further expansion will be aided by its EUR1 million (US$1 million) seed round, led by Launch Africa Ventures, with participation from Madica Ventures, Orange Ventures, Digital Africa, GO Ventures, and business angel Bruno Akpaka, alongside support from BPI France.

“This funding is a pivotal milestone for ToumAI Analytics,” said CEO Odin Demassieux. “We are excited to scale our technology and bring HolistiCX to a global audience.”
