The annual Paris-based technology conference VivaTech has opened applications for the fourth edition of its AfricaTech Awards, which recognise and support startups striving to make a positive impact in the areas of green-tech, e-health, and e-commerce/fintech.
Through the AfricaTech Awards, VivaTech aims to create new opportunities for emerging startups in Africa, with the programme providing opportunities for networking and mentoring with leaders in tech, major investors, policymakers, and institutions.
There are three challenges, in green-tech, e-health, and e-commerce and fintech, with finalists offered the chance to attend the event and pitch their product on stage. Startups must be Africa-headquartered, Africa-focused, and have raised more than US$150,000 in funding.
Applications are open here until March 2.
