Zydii, Venture for Africa launch go-to-market training for African startups, operators

Zydii, a leading digital workforce platform, has teamed up with Venture for Africa (VFA), a talent accelerator, to launch a practical, execution-focused Go-to-Market (GTM) strategy course – built for African businesses, by African experts.

The collaboration combines Zydii’s expertise in delivering accessible digital learning with VFA’s deep understanding of the talent and knowledge gaps faced by African startups, resulting in a practical, high-impact learning experience for business operators looking to scale.

“Businesses in Africa don’t just need theories, they need practical strategies that work on the ground,” said Rhoda Kingori, co-founder and COO at Zydii. “This partnership with Venture for Africa is about giving businesses the tools to navigate real challenges, from market entry to regional expansion. Think of it as the ultimate playbook for winning in African markets.”

The self-paced, interactive curriculum is designed to be engaging, actionable, and rooted in Africa’s business realities. Participants will gain access to real-world case studies from thriving African businesses, actionable playbooks for market entry, sales strategy, and scaling, expert insights from industry leaders who have successfully executed GTM strategies, and interactive learning modules and assessments for practical application.

“Go-to-market execution is one of the biggest challenges for startups, yet too often, practical, Africa-specific guidance is out of reach,” said Tobi Lafinhan, co-founder at Venture for Africa. “We built this programme to change that. By partnering with Zydii, we’ve taken the hands-on, expert-led approach of our GTM bootcamp and made it accessible anytime, anywhere, without losing the depth that makes it work. Whether you’re figuring out sales motion for an early-stage SaaS product or growing a consumer brand across the continent, this course gives you the playbook and real-world insights to move faster and smarter.”
