African e-commerce giants Supermart, BidorBuy and Yuppiechef have joined the advisory panel for the upcoming eCommerce Africa Confex 2015, which will take place on February 3-4 next year in Cape Town.

The conference is looking to bring together senior-level e-commerce and marketing professionals from all major industries in South Africa and throughout Africa, and aims to educate, inform and inspire entrepreneurs.

One of the highlights is set to be an expert-led advisory panel which includes Raphael Afaedor, co-founder of Jumia and Supermart, Jaco Jonker, chief executive officer (CEO) of BidorBuy, and Paul Galatis, director of Yuppiechef.

“It is especially valuable for SME players looking at setting up an e-Commerce business including those taking their current online business to the next level.” said Jonker.

“I’d like to express my support for the creation of a world class e-commerce conference in South Africa. The importance of such an event cannot be stressed enough.” said Galatis.

Exhibitors and sponsors at the event will include industry giants such as FNB, Dimension Data, iGroup, Trustwave South Africa, Amazon Web Services, PayPal, PayFast, Nedbank, BuyDirect, RAM Couriers, and AWA Digital and eSolutions.
