Kenyan travel booking platform Tripitaca has officially rebranded itself as Triply in a move it says signalled continued growth and commitment to Africa’s travel industry.
Launched in 2021 by Peter Wachira, Triply is a travel booking platform dedicated to empowering travel businesses and entrepreneurs in Africa.
Through partnerships with local businesses and integrations with travel tech solutions, Triply ensures its platform offers offline maps, curated itineraries, and multilingual content. It also actively fosters partnerships with local businesses and organizstions, providing them with the tools and resources they need to compete in the ever-evolving travel landscape.
The startup said the rebranding reflected its aim to become the backbone of travel in Africa, not just through bookings, but by harnessing technology to empower the continent’s travel sector.
“Triply represents the next chapter in our journey,” said Wachira. “We are excited to leverage our cumulative experience and the strength of our team to empower travel businesses and shape the future of travel in Africa. This is more than just a company; it’s a mission to unlock the potential of our continent’s travel sector and create a lasting impact.”
