Cardano Price Prediction: How Might The Glacier Airdrop To 37M Wallets Impact ADA?

By Sponsored Post on May 17, 2025 Uncategorized

Cardano price prediction models are now factoring in the upcoming glacier airdrop, which is set to reach over 37 million wallets. Analysts are watching closely to see how this large-scale distribution could influence ADA’s short-term movement and long-term adoption. While some expect a rise in user engagement, others warn of potential sell pressure.

37M Wallets Targeted in Cardano’s Massive ‘Glacier Drop’ Airdrop

Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson has announced the Glacier Drop, a major airdrop linked to the Midnight sidechain. Set to reach 37 million wallets across eight major blockchains (including BTC, ETH, XRP, SOL, BSC, AVAX, DOT, and ADA), the airdrop targets retail users exclusively, leaving out VCs.

Participants will receive two tokens: NIGHT, for governance, and DUST, focused on privacy transactions. Midnight introduces a “collaborative economics” model, allowing devs to pay fees in native tokens like ETH, BTC, or ADA, while validators from multiple chains can earn cross-network rewards.

Now in testnet, Midnight’s mainnet is expected by year-end. With a “rational privacy” framework balancing confidentiality and compliance, Midnight could redefine how privacy is handled in Web3.

Cardano Price Prediction Sees Whale Activity and Network Growth

A massive transfer of 68.7 million ADA, worth nearly $53 million, from Coinbase to an unknown wallet has stirred speculation about Cardano’s next move. While the motive remains unclear, large-scale transfers like this often hint at strategic accumulation or off-exchange positioning.

Despite this large-scale transfer, Cardano’s network continues to exhibit robust growth. Data indicates that over 225,000 new ADA wallets have been created in 2025, averaging about 1,700 new wallets daily. This consistent increase suggests a growing interest and adoption of the Cardano blockchain.

Moreover, Coinbase recently announced plans to introduce cbADA, a wrapped version of Cardano. While the exact launch date is unspecified, the announcement has generated buzz among investors and could potentially increase ADA‘s DeFi utility.

This combination of significant token movements and steady network expansion highlights the dynamic nature of Cardano’s ecosystem. As both on-chain activity and wallet growth accelerate, eyes remain on ADA’s next breakout potential.

Remittix Gains Institutional Traction as PayFi Utility Token

Remittix is beginning to attract serious attention as a PayFi infrastructure token designed for fast, secure, and cost-efficient digital transactions. Built for scalability, it supports high-volume transfers and aims to bridge crypto with real-world payment systems.

One of the standout features is its modular smart contract layer, which allows integration into fintech apps without compromising compliance or efficiency. Developers and businesses can build on Remittix to offer programmable remittances, invoice tracking, and even region-specific payouts.

Recent activity shows rising interest from institutional wallets, particularly those prioritizing low-fee networks with transparent governance models. While retail investors are eyeing growth potential, larger players are examining utility. As stablecoin reliance grows in developing markets, Remittix is positioned to serve as a programmable alternative.

Moreover, the platform’s focus on transparency and stability through blockchain technology ensures secure, fast, and traceable transactions. This is powered by RTX, the platform’s native token, which serves as more than just a currency—it is the driving force behind Remittix.

Conclusion

While ADA’s airdrop may stir short-term volatility, Remittix is quietly building a foundation for real-world financial adoption. At just $0.0757, and over $15 million already raised, RTX offers a low entry point into a project solving real PayFi problems. For investors looking to front-run the next utility-driven breakout, Remittix is the token to watch.
