Nigerian insurtech startup Haba raises $75k pre-seed funding

Nigerian insurtech startup Haba has raised US$75,000 in a pre-seed funding round as it seeks to expand its capabilities and redefine the insurance landscape in the West African country.

Co-founded in 2022 by Constance Oshafi, Stephen Onwe, and Paul Showemimo, Haba has developed a comprehensive suite of services designed to cater to the diverse needs of both individuals and businesses.

The US$75,000 pre-seed funding round will be used by Haba to enhance its service capabilities, strengthen its technical team, and amplify its marketing efforts to reach a broader base of individual customers.
