Ghanaian impact startups invited to apply for UNICEF StartUp Lab 2024

Applications are open for UNICEF StartUp Lab, a six-month accelerator programme for impactful Ghanaian startups and businesses working to advance the Sustainable Development Goals for children and young people.

Launched in 2019, the UNICEF StartUp Lab programme is led by UNICEF in Ghana, supported by KOICA and implemented by MEST Africa, which provides wide-reaching technical expertise and systems knowledge in the social sector, led by the UNICEF experts in education, health and nutrition; social policy and protection; water, sanitation and hygiene; and child protection. 

The participants have access to individual mentorship, network of UN System partners, prototyping funding, and many other support mechanisms. Designed to catalyse growth and innovation, the programme targets impact-driven startups in Ghana with a technology-centric approach. 

Applications close on February 29.
