Burning Heroes (BH) Founders Association has opened applications for the second edition of the BH Africa Startup Awards, which aims to connect ventures with investment and other opportunities.
The competition is a part of Burning Heroes Founders Association’s mission to equalise access to global opportunities for talented founders. All association events are collaborative and non-profit and called to connect founders with investors, media, and experts.
The inaugural BH Africa Startup Awards in 2023 showcased over 80 startups from across the continent, with a panel of distinguished judges from top-tier tech companies and venture capital firms such as Meta, AWS, Flat6Labs, Savant, Plug and Play, Katapult, and Starta VC picking nine standout startups as winners, securing various prizes.
BH Africa will offer 30 early-stage startups the opportunity to virtually pitch to an African and European panel of VCs and successful tech founders. Contest categories include mobility, prop-tech, climate, agri-tech, fintech, insurtech, space-tech, ed-tech, and AI for good. Winners stand a chance to win media featuring, personal advisory sessions with experts, personal pricing and promo codes from BH Africa partners, and access to VCs and membership in our closed community.
Applications are open here until April 1.
