Fifteen Nigerian startups have been named as finalists of the second edition of the Pitch2Win competition, which offers up to US$10,000 in prize money and the chance to travel to Japan.

Pitch2Win is hosted by Techcircle, in collaboration with Freakout, SGverse and SGgrow, with the second edition to take place on June 12, where 10 promising startups will have the chance to pitch their ideas to a panel of esteemed judges and investors.

The selected startups will vie for a grand prize of US$10,000 equity-free funding and an all-expense-paid trip to IVS2024 Kyoto, Japan’s largest crypto conference, offering invaluable networking opportunities and exposure to global trends.

Selected ventures include e-health platform 10mg Pharma, schools payment service Acceede, API securing solution Apisentry, employee management platform Beezop, and customer engagement service Bunce.

Also taking part are ed-tech startup Edusko, e-health platform Eight Medical, business management tool Fullgap, AI-powered ethical debt collection service Mida Africa, and digital learning platform Pave HQ.

The list of competing ventures is completed by pregnancy care service Preggify, financial inclusion platform Regxta, business management startup Sendstack, team management platform Sync!, and credit provider Trade Lenda.

“Pitch2Win aims to not only address the funding and mentorship gaps but also empower startups whose innovative business solutions have the potential to shape the future of technology in Africa,” said Oo Nwoye, founder of TechCircle said.

E-health startup Pharma Run was the winner of last year’s inaugural edition of the competition.
