Egyptian ed-tech startup El Kheta raises $400k funding from EdVentures

Egyptian online educational platform El Kheta has raised US$400,000 in funding from EdVentures, the investment arm of Nahdet Misr Group and the first venture capital company  specialising in the ed-tech sector in the Middle East.

El Kheta is an innovative educational platform that offers reinforcement lessons to help school students in Egypt study, as well as providing them with exercises and exams from the new  Egyptian curricula, helping students improve their academic performance and achieve success. 

The platform offers students a customised and flexible educational experience, where they can choose their preferred curricula and create a study plan that suits their needs.

El Kheta has now raised a US$400,000 round of funding from EdVentures, Egypt’s first ed-tech-focused corporate VC fund, to help it scale.
