African insurtech startups have the chance to access between US$100,000 and US$1 million in funding via the ZEP-RE InsurTech Programme 2.0.

Developed by reinsurance company ZEP-RE in partnership with Westerwelle Startup Haus Kigali, the second edition of the ZEP-RE InsurTech Programme will see 25 startups take part in a three-month hybrid acceleration programme, culminating in an all-expenses-paid trip to Kigali, Rwanda for an intensive investment readiness bootcamp.

The programme will conclude with a pitch competition where the top 10 startups will compete, and the top five will be eligible for investment from the ZEP-RE Insurtech Fund, with potential funding ranging from US$100,000 to US$1 million per startup.
