Entlaq, an Egypt-based entrepreneurial think tank, has partnered with Savannah, a Sudanese incubator, to support Sudanese migrants and refugees entrepreneurs in Egypt.
Entlaq is committed to reshaping the country’s entrepreneurial ecosystem, while Savannah is a prominent incubator and advisory firm focused on unlocking the Sudanese startup ecosystem’s potential.
The partnership aims to help migrant and refugee entrepreneurs transition their businesses into the formal economy through comprehensive support, training, and advocacy efforts. It sets the foundation for a range of interventions that will enhance the socio-economic status of Sudanese migrant and refugee entrepreneurs in Egypt.
It will provide an incubation programme that includes workshops, training sessions, and mentorship programmes aimed at equipping entrepreneurs with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed. Business clinics will be offered to help entrepreneurs overcome challenges, while legal and financial advisory services will guide them through the process of formalising and growing their businesses.
