Ghanaian fintech startup PayBox Global has launched the Buddy Super App Developer Programme, designed to empower brands, developers, and businesses across industries by offering unparalleled access to more than 14 African markets through a single platform.

PayBox is driving innovation in cross-border payment and fund transfers across various African countries for SMEs, with its Buddy mobile application leveraging blockchain and artificial intelligence (AI) to provide innovative financial solutions. The app challenges inflation, reduces transaction fees, simplifies cross-border payments, and enhances investment yields.

The Buddy Super App Developer Programme enables companies and developers to create and integrate Mini Apps and Single Page Applications (SPAs) into the PayBox ecosystem with just one line of code. This programme provides brands with swift entry into the rapidly growing African digital economy, leveraging mobile money payment rails and decentralised finance (DeFi), giving developers direct access to a user base of over 35,000.

“We are incredibly excited to launch this programme,” said Philip Boye-Doku, CEO of PayBox Global. “The Buddy Super App Developer Programme is designed to simplify market entry and provide developers and businesses with the tools they need to expand their digital presence across Africa. By reducing the barriers to entry, we believe this program will fuel innovation and drive economic growth across the continent.”
