Global early-stage VC firm Antler, which launched operations in Kenya in 2019, has expanded to Nigeria.

Founded in 2017 by Magnus Grimeland in Singapore, Antler has rapidly expanded its footprint across continents, establishing a presence in major entrepreneurial hubs such as Amsterdam, Berlin, London, Nairobi, New York, Oslo, Singapore, Stockholm, and Sydney.

The company, which has invested in more than 400 companies globally, launched African operations in Kenya in August 2019, and has now also started working in Nigeria. Antler adopts a people-first approach, focusing on identifying and nurturing exceptional individuals to build complementary co-founding teams.

Applications for the first Nigerian programme are open here, with the cohort kicking off in June.
