The HealthTech Hub Africa officially announces the 2024 Investor Summit, which will be held at the Kigali Serena Hotel and Norrsken East Africa, Rwanda, between October 30th and October 31st, 2024.
The theme of the Summit is Innovating for Community Health, Resilience, and Wellbeing: Unlocking the Power of AI and Emerging Technologies.
The HealthTech Hub Africa Investor Summit 2024 is a premier two-day event that brings together startups, investors, and industry leaders to foster collaboration and unlock funding opportunities within Africa’s healthtech investment ecosystem.
For the first time, the Summit will join forces with Africa CDC to be featured at the Africa HealthTech Summit 2024, significantly enhancing its impact and reach.
HealthTech Hub Africa has hosted its Investor Summit at Norrsken House in Kigali for the past two years, positioning it as a critical graduation event for startups in its accelerator program.
Startups that have received investment-readiness support throughout the program showcase their innovations and pitch their solutions to potential investors.
Objectives Of The Summit:
To showcase the HealthTech Hub Africa 2024 cohort
- To facilitate networking opportunities between investors and entrepreneurs
- To share progress on the policy blueprint for advancing health tech in Africa
- To introduce the Standards and Interoperability Lab to a new stakeholder audience
The event will target various Venture Capital and Private Equity firms, HealthTech Hub Africa startups, policymakers, development partners, and government champions.
The HealthTech Hub Africa’s anchor partners have sponsored the Investor Summit 2024: Novartis Foundation, The Global Fund To Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria (the Global Fund), and The Patrick J. Africa CDC, through the Africa HealthTech Summit platform, is a crucial strategic partner catalysing the implementation of the event.
The HealthTech Hub Africa is a hybrid pan-African healthtech accelerator with a physical co-working and community space in Kigali, Rwanda, working to drive the development of health technologies in Africa and fast-track these innovations in public health systems through collaboration with government partners and funders of global health.
